United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA) publications:
- TEGL 10-04 (Training and Guidance Letter) announced the reauthorization of the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and the Welfare-to-Work Tax Credit (WtWTC) under the Working Families Tax Relief Act of 2004 (P.L. 108-311), and transmits a policy clarification regarding acceptance and processing of the certification requests for new hires who work in one state but received public assistance benefits in a different state. - TEGL 05-07 The Small Business and Work Opportunity Tax Act of 2007 (P.L. 110-28) was signed into law
on May 25, 2007. Section 8211 of the Act provides a 44-month extension of the WOTC Program through
Aug. 31, 2011.
- TEGL 20-06 announced the reauthorization of the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) Program under the
Tax Relief and Health Care Act of 2006 and transmits program changes effective Jan. 1, 2007.
