In accordance with federal regulations at Section 402(a) of the Social Security Act, Ohio is required to submit a TANF State plan in order qualify for continued funding under the TANF Block Grant. The plan does the following:
- provides a historical overview of Ohio's TANF programs
- explains the operational procedures and state-county governance structure for Ohio's TANF programs
- explains how Medicaid, Child Care, Food Stamps and Transportation services provide support to low-income families
- describes how Ohio will address additional provisions required by federal law
