Vision
Through audit and fraud detection operations, provide significant monetary contributions to finance needed benefits for displaced workers and to support families during times of need.
Mission
The mission of the Bureau of Integrity Assurance (BIA) is to aggressively protect the integrity of the Ohio Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund.
Goals
In order to accomplish this mission the Bureau of Integrity Assurance will:
Goal One: Ensure that staff is highly trained, competent and equipped with advanced audit and fraud detection techniques, methods and strategies.
Goal Two: Ensure employer compliance so that all employers pay their fair share of UI contributions.
Goal Three: Detect UI benefit fraud and ensure that recipients receive only the amounts they are entitled to under the law.
Goal Four: Continually strive to find more effective and efficient methods and technology to accomplish our mission and be the nation's premier UI compliance and enforcement organization.
