Welcome to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services' Office of Legislation.

Office Mission: To serve as the Department's principal legislative contact. To advocate for ODJFS mission and vision before the Ohio General Assembly and Congress. To build positive working relationships with the General Assembly, Ohio Congressional Delegation and staff. To provide services and information both internally and externally in a professional manner.

Office Vision: To promote the agency's goals and initiatives with the Ohio General Assembly and Congress. These goals include the developing and implementing of policies and programs that allow the vulnerable citizens of Ohio to achieve self-sufficiency and improve their overall quality of life. To actively promote with, the Ohio General Assembly and Congress, policies and programs that leverage state and federal funding to provide appropriate services to vulnerable citizens while being good stewards to taxpayer money.
