Provider Compliance Monitoring
The
Bureau of Home and Community Services' Standards and Services Section monitors
providers to make sure they follow the rules of the
Ohio Home Care program. All rules
applying to Ohio Home Care providers are found in the
Ohio Administrative Code. The tables linked below show the performance elements that are monitored for nursing and daily living services, and in some specific cases, skilled therapies (occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech/hearing therapy). General rules that apply to all providers are shown in the first column under General Rule. Beside each element is the specific Ohio Home Care rule that describes the provider's performance and what the provider
is responsible for assuring. All Ohio Home Care providers are held accountable to the administrative rules and must follow these rules at all times.
